About Pool Safety Certification

Our comprehensive pool safety inspection package is priced at $200. This all-inclusive service covers a pre-inspection checklist, The Pool Safety Certificate, the initial inspection, a re-inspection if needed, and unlimited phone advice. 

Here's how our seamless pool safety inspection process works:

1. Booking the Inspection: Simply book your inspection with us through our website or by giving us a call. Upon booking, we'll gather essential information from you to ensure a smooth inspection process.
2. Pre-Inspection Preparation: After booking, we'll promptly email you a pre-inspection checklist and an invoice for the service. (Invoice is required to be paid prior to inspection date)
3. Consultation and Clarification: We'll reach out to you via phone to gather any additional information needed and to address any questions or concerns you may have about the inspection process.
4. Day of Inspection: Our experienced inspector will arrive at your property on the scheduled day and conduct a thorough assessment of your pool area. Typically, the inspection takes approximately 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the size and complexity of the pool and its surroundings.
5. Certificate Issuance: If your pool barrier is found to be compliant with safety regulations, we'll issue your Pool Safety Certificate within 2 business days. You can rest assured knowing that your pool meets the necessary safety standards.
6. Non-Compliance Resolution: In the event that your pool barrier is non-compliant, we'll provide you with a detailed report outlining the areas that need attention, along with a Form 26 - Pool Safety Nonconformity Notice. This document will specify the required fixes to bring your pool up to standard.
7. Re-Inspection and Certificate Issuance: After you've addressed the necessary changes, we'll schedule a free re-inspection to confirm that the corrections have been made. Once everything is in order, we'll issue your Pool Safety Certificate, providing you with peace of mind and official documentation of your pool's compliance with safety regulations.

 
(Please be advised that on the day of the inspection, in compliance with QBCC regulations, our inspectors are required to capture photographs and videos of the inspection process. Rest assured, these visual records are stored in accordance with the Privacy Act and will only be utilized for evidentiary purposes if specifically requested by the QBCC or other relevant governing bodies. Your privacy and confidentiality are of utmost importance to us, and we strictly adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines regarding the handling of sensitive information.)

 Once you have completed your pool inspection and obtained your pool safety certificate it will be valid for:

• 1 year for shared pools
• 2 years for private pools

 You do not need to be present during the inspection, provided that safe access to your pool area is ensured. In the event of dangerous animals on the property, we kindly ask that they are contained in a separate area during the inspection for safety reasons.
